Winter tyres
A new rubber compound with added silica is the outstanding new feature
of the winter tyre Super Grip 6 (SG 6) by TECAR. Together with the far
longer service life, the running noise level is also reduced. TECAR SG6
offers better characteristics than most summer tyres already at
temperatures from +7°C. SG 6 has a directional profile for more
traction in wet conditions with optimised aquaplaning behaviour. The
blades of SG6 come into their own on ice and snow, supporting the tyre
on the surface and guaranteeing greater stability even in tight curves.
Stable shoulder blocks produce a measurable increase in curve safety
with an optimised profile block arrangement for more comfort.

Winter tyres/TEST
In 2002, the exclusive winter tyre TECAR SG6 showed outstanding
performance in altogether 4 tests. The most important result, quoted
1:1 from the report by Stiftung Warentest:
"... a genuinely sensational bargain ... ... scarcely more expensive
than retreaded tyres, which only produced "satisfactory" results. |
